If you dream alone, it’s just a dream. If we dream together, it is the reality that begins.

SassoMatto is first of all a family, that cultivates its passion with care to place it at customers’ disposal.

Our adventure began in 2008.Initially it was only a dream, but with a firm will to let this dream comes true. After many ups and downs, and demanding restructuring works where we actively took part with great satisfactions, in 2009 we finally succeded and our dream, SassoMatto, came true.

SassoMatto is not only a pizzeria, Italian trattoria, B&B or a bio swimming pool, it is the place where you can feel at home.
Where you arrive, and you would never want to leave.

Chef - Sonia (La Mamma)

Since childhood Sonia has had a great passion in cooking. Self-taught woman and with many years of experience in restoration, she and her daughter Serena every day creat dishes respecting the tradition but with a personal touch.

Maître - Serena (La Figlia)

Not only a name but also a state of mind, Serena has always been fascinated by cooking with her mum, she welcomes you at SassoMatto. With her joy and her permanent smile take your hand in this beautiful experience for a lunch, a dinner, a day by the pool or during your relaxing stay.

Pizzaiolo - Leopoldo (Il Babbo)

Thanks to his great experience as baker, Leopoldo creates works with flour. His knowledge in many fields, grown with years, let him to be the one that, helped by the family, mantains the house in perfect order.

But in our family there are other members that, in a way or another, give their support to this adventure, and without them we could not be who we are… SassoMatto.
